TiviBoy IPTV Player — official document

Privacy Policy — TiviBoy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TiviBoy ("the app") handles information. The short version: the app collects nothing and sends nothing to us. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Data we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, and no servers of its own. We (the developer) never receive, store, or have access to any information about you or your use of the app.

Data stored on your device

To function, the app stores the following locally on your device only:

This data never leaves your device except as described below.

Network connections the app makes

The app connects directly from your device to servers you configure: your playlist/Xtream provider (to fetch channel lists and streams), EPG sources you add, and channel-logo or poster URLs contained in your playlists. These third-party servers can see your IP address and standard connection metadata, exactly as a web browser visit would. Those servers are chosen by you and are governed by their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Credentials

Xtream Codes usernames and passwords are stored in the app's private local database, which is sandboxed by Android and not accessible to other apps on an unmodified device. They are transmitted only to the server you entered them for. Note that if your provider uses plain HTTP (not HTTPS), those credentials travel unencrypted between your device and that server.

Deleting your data

All app data can be deleted at any time: remove individual playlists in Settings → Playlists, clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Because we hold no copies, deletion on your device is complete deletion.

Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children. Content accessibility depends entirely on the playlists you add.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes any of the above (for example, adds optional crash reporting), this policy will be updated and the change noted in the app's update notes before it takes effect.
